I would love to be a birth photographer. Such an amazing experience to be apart of. When I found out my sister was pregnant, I was determined to photograph as much of the process as possible.

The gang. We spent more time in the hallway outside her door than anywhere else. Luckily, she was the only one down that hall, so we were able to wait by the door while she was giving birth. She wouldn’t allow any of us in there…From left to right: great aunt, maternal grandmother, paternal grandmother (hiding in stripes), uncle, uncle’s girlfriend, and cousin Emmy in the front. ![]()

He was born at 9:17pm. I was a minute or two late getting this photo.

Welcome to the world, Baby Chevy! Born April 2nd, 2009. 9:17pm. 6lb 7oz. 18in.

Fantastic documentation of the evening! I love all the shots, but the one of you all crowded together is too cute, and i love that you thought of taking a picture of the clock. That last photo is perfection, he is beautiful!

OMG there is nothing like photographing a birth. He is adorable.
Being a nurse, I love that you took pics of the “stuff” we use! (Except I don’t go anywhere near OB!) That fetal monitor shot is so sharp!
These are great pictures. I wish I would’ve had this sort of documentation with both of my boys….
